Perry Logan (3M) and I will be presenting a PDC on “Forecasting Exposures Using the New Well-Mixed Room Models” on the Sunday prior to the 2019 AIHCE in Minneapolis:
Bring an old fashioned scientific calculator and a dozen pieces of paper, a Windows 7 or 10 laptop, and a desire to estimate past and predict present and future exposures using state-of-the-art “Well-mixed Room” models and Monte Carlo Simulation methods.
PDC 410: Forecasting Exposures Using Well Mixed Room Models – NEW!
Sun, 5/19: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Professional Development Course
Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC)
CM Credit Hours: 7
Description: The new one and two box Well Mixed Room (WMR) models will be introduced, along with a systematic approach to calibrating a WMR model. Software (Windows only) will be provided that allows the user to quickly select and apply a WMR model. The software is capable of Monte Carlo Simulations resulting in the prediction of an exposure profile. Participants are encouraged to bring modeling examples. This PDC course will concentrate on the practical application of WMR models to several exposure scenarios.
